Valentine’s Day – Pink Skirt

Valentine’s Day – Pink Skirt

Happy Thursday Everyone! Today’s post is about my Valentine’s Day outfit… and the pink skirt I made for this occasion! Valentine’s Day is a day away and I like doing something different each time, something out of the ordinary. This year rather than go shopping for a sexy dress or the classic black dress, I decided to make my own skirt! I wanted it to be fun & bright to make a statement. I recently took a stitching class to learn how to make pants. I learned the basics and it inspired me to make my own outfit for Valentine’s Day. So here’s the skirt & how I styled it:

I wore a sparkly black top from Express to go with it and kept it simple on the bottom with the classic black heels from Christian Louboutin. This is the day look I am shooting for on Saturday but at night, the watch will come off & I’ll grab my evening clutch!
