Welcome to Naples, Italy! As soon as my sister and I got off the cruise ship the next day, we fought our way into a bus for 15 euros per person that took us to Pompeii, just outside of Naples, to see the ruins! If you plan on traveling to Europe anytime soon, do not fall for the expensive bus rides and the people coming after you telling you it’s such a great deal! They try to get tourists! My sister and I shopped around before we said yes to anything! I am surprised the first booth we saw selling tickets for a bus ride was 90 euros and we walked a little ahead and it was 30 euros… and it only got cheaper from there!
Anyways! I am too excited to share my photos! So lets go!
Here is the view from the cruise ship before we got off… it was breathtaking and so beautiful in every direction… so I took so many photos!

The castle… (before we left Naples, we did stop by and see the inside! the pictures are below!)

Naples, Italy

I thought the police car was so cute!

Finally, on our way to Pompeii to see the ruins!

Almost there…

My view the second we entered inside the ruins!

My sister… and her map!

Leaving Pompeii…

Back in Naples!

After all the 32,000 steps I did (according to my health app on my iPhone!), much needed food! And we’re in Italy! How could we not get pizza?!

I wasn’t the only one taking a photo of him!

Time to go inside the castle!

Apparently there was a concert going on that day inside the castle.

Goodbye Naples.
