Birthday in the Bahamas

It’s taken me a few years to realize I need to start writing in this blog. I struggle when it comes to writing… well, posting what I really feel or think (unless it’s about makeup, of course!). But lately I’ve been thinking about what I really want this blog to become, and keep going in circles of how lost I am and why am I lost? What am I lost about? I can’t be the only one out there who feels this way… ALL THE TIME.

I want this blog to be SO many things, and I am just one person. I can’t do EVERYTHING. I love creating jewelry, do I want this to be a boutique AND a blog? A blog requires writing, but what if I have nothing to say or write about and get stuck? Would anyone take the time to even read? What if others are just as lazy as me when it comes to reading? I have to admit, it takes a lot for me to sit down and read something. So if I am THAT lazy, would others read it?

I want to create videos for makeup looks and blog about beauty! But I don’t want to limit myself to just THAT. I want to post outfits, but taking pictures can be time consuming with everything else I want to do, and sometimes it’s hard finding a photographer. Bae isn’t in the same city as I am, or else he’s the first one to be there, and I don’t mind bugging him about it!

With everything running in circles in my mind and a job I go to every day asking myself every morning ‘why am I going?’, I just wanted to get away… so I decided to plan a weekend getaway for my birthday… and coming back, I decided writing is going to be my therapy!

This past weekend, I took a Carnival Cruise from Miami to Bahamas that lasted 3 days long! Today, I wanted to share an outfit with you I wore to the beach…

OUTFIT DETAILS

FLORAL ROMPER: H&M | COVER UP: H&M | HAT: MARKET IN BAHAMAS | BELT: ROMWE

This was the perfect outfit – the easiest & comfiest outfit for the beach in Nassau, Bahamas. I wore my black one piece swimsuit underneath my floral romper, and a black sheer cardigan/cover up on top.  I ended up buying a fun hat while I was there because the sunglasses I brought with me were making my face sweat as if I was crying because it was over 100 degrees in Bahamas! To finish the look, I paired a gold metal bow belt with the romper. There’s so much more I want to share with you about my trip… but I will save it for the next post!

Until next time,
